About When Seasons Change

Jan Kaiser, Founder/Owner of When Seasons Change

Jan Kaiser

Senior Living Locator

My name is Jan Kaiser, and I have worked in the senior living industry for over 32 years. I have been a part of the industry in Houston since the first senior living was built, and I've managed multiple communities across the area. My hands on knowledge of resident needs allows me to facilitate placing them in the community that best meets their needs.

The Seed that Started it all

WSC came about after much prayer and reflection. I have been apart of the senior living industry in Houston since 1998. I have seen all but one community in Houston start from the ground up. I was the Marketing Director and the Assistant Executive Director for the first Assisted Living in Houston.

What sets me apart is that I have managed the day to day operations in communities for decades, and I understand what type of environment a resident needs to thrive. I will be serving Houston and all surrounding cities/suburbs. I am a highly respected leader in the industry and will continue with the same integrity in helping my clients.

What My Clients Have to Say

I have known Jan Kaiser for more than 15 years, and she is one of the most knowledgeable people I know in the senior living / senior care industry.  She was the Director of my mother's Memory Care Community and was invaluable to my Dad and the rest of my family as we tried to navigate an unfamiliar industry during a very difficult time in my mom's life.

When you are first thrown into this situation - looking for services, care or a community for your loved one, can be VERY overwhelming.  My family was so blessed to have Jan right there, guiding us every step of the way.  She encouraged my Dad to get the support he needed, and made the whole experience more manageable for us all.  When it was time for my mom to pass, Jan's kind, and sincere heart came through as she made sure that we had everything we needed to be at my mom's bedside.

Now, these 14 years later, I am in this situation again with my father.  When I was looking for ways to get help for my elderly father, I called on my long-time friend Jan.  Her knowledge of the industry, and her experience gave me important insights into who to call, what to ask for, and also what "lingo" to use. Most importantly, Jan gave me her honest opinion about them all, which I found invaluable.

I would highly recommend Jan as a premiere source of information for any question or concern, or even where to begin, when starting your journey in the senior living/senior care industry.  Jan's heart for the elderly is apparent in everything that she does.  She truly wants the very best for your loved one!
