About When Seasons Change

Senior Advisor (Independent Contractor)

I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Texas — where everyone knew your family and relationships meant everything. My dad always said, “You can learn something from everyone.” That lesson shaped my life.

After earning my degree in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University, I began my career teaching. I loved it. But life has a way of changing our seasons.

Deep Roots in the Senior Living Community

When my dad suffered a major stroke and my mom developed dementia, I found myself stepping into the role of caregiver—3½ hours away, learning as I went. After losing my brother to Juvenile Diabetes, and walking through my dad’s hospice journey, I experienced firsthand how overwhelming and emotional these decisions can be.

I didn’t just learn about senior care.

I lived it.

That journey led me into senior living communities—serving as Director of Sales & Marketing, admissions coordinator, healthcare liaison—walking alongside families navigating assisted living, memory care, rehab, and long-term care.

And now…

After 16 years in this industry, I have a renewed passion for helping families find clarity in the middle of uncertainty.

At When Seasons Change, we believe:

  • You should never feel alone in this process.

  • You deserve honest guidance.

  • The right community is about more than care—it’s about dignity, purpose, and peace of mind.

If you are facing a change in season for yourself or someone you love, I’m here to walk beside you.

Because transitions are easier when someone who understands is guiding the way.
